The Big Picture was founded in 2008 in a student flat in Aro Valley, just two young guys with a printer in the wardrobe, catering to Wellington’s architecture and design students. That’s where our journey as a top-tier Wellington printing company began.

We made it official in 2009, with our first “commercial premises,” in a (barely) refurbished laundromat, also on Aro Street. We quickly outgrew that space and moved on to Victoria St in 2011, then finally to Fifeshire Ave in 2016. And just quietly, we’re bulging at the seams again…

Over that time, we’ve grown from an after-hours side-hustle to one of Wellington’s leading print & signage companies. We’re proud to work alongside iconic local brands, providing high-quality printing in Wellington, and we love being part of Wellington’s buzzing creative community. Ya can’t beat it on a good day…
